If you do not already hold a registered behavior technician (RBT) certification, then you must receive this within 60 days of employment with BloomWorks.
You must maintain you Registered Behavior Technician Certification during employment and remain in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Follow written protocols developed for individuals by the BCBA - this may include but not be limited to toileting protocols, behavior intervention plans, individualized targets for skill acquisition, etc.
Follow a daily schedule with your client based off of their written protocols.
Implement individualized treatment/skill acquisition targets.
Complete daily data recording and session notes within a data collection platform (app).
Continue knowledge and expertise by attending trainings, workshops, etc.
Maintain respect and confidentiality of all clients across settings.
Protect the well-being of clients at all times.

Registered Behavior Technician:

An RBT must have basic computer/tablet navigation skills in order to complete necessary data collection for this job.
Pass background checks which may include but not be limited to BMV, county criminal background, Indiana State criminal history background (fingerprinting), national criminal history, pre-employment drug screening, and clearance from the DIG Medicaid fraud registry.
Have dependable transportation and hold a valid Indiana driver's license with an insurable driving record and have proof of insurance on dependable personal vehicle.
Have an active cell phone at all times of employment as this is our first line of communication.
Maintain a positive attitude and willing to serve as a positive role model for other therapists.
Read and interpret basic written instructions and information.
Have strong verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively daily.
Be able to physically move and active - being an RBT will require moving from a sitting to standing position as well as following individuals at their pace.

Applicant must be able to easily move from sitting to standing position, push, pull, stoop, bend, crawl, walk, run, lift a minimum of 25 lbs, and climb stairs without assistance in context with the environment.
